The Silent Sound System Host Voice Broadcast System allows a host, DJ, instructor, or event coordinator to speak to guests listening on any of the three music channels simultaneously. Guests don’t need to change channels, remove their headphones, or stop listening to the music to hear important announcements.

Whether you’re welcoming guests, giving instructions, announcing the next activity, counting down to a special moment, or communicating important event information, your host can reach the entire audience with one microphone.

How It Works

Your three primary transmitters operate as your normal silent disco music channels:

Channel 1 — Music Source 1
Channel 2 — Music Source 2
Channel 3 — Music Source 3

Each transmitter receives its own audio source, allowing your DJs, playlists, or other audio devices to continue broadcasting independently.

A 10-Channel Audio Receiver is connected to the microphone input of each of these three transmitters.

All three receivers are programmed to receive Channel 4.

The fourth 10-Channel Wireless Transmitter becomes your dedicated Host Broadcast Transmitter. When the host speaks into the microphone connected to this transmitter, the voice signal is sent over Channel 4 to all three receivers.

Those receivers feed the host’s voice into the microphone inputs of the Channel 1, Channel 2, and Channel 3 transmitters.

The result: the host’s voice is broadcast over all three music channels at the same time.

Guests can continue enjoying whichever music channel they’ve selected while still hearing announcements from the host.

Automatic Music Ducking

There’s no need for a DJ or technician to manually lower the music every time the host needs to speak.

Our 10-Channel Wireless Transmitters feature automatic music ducking, which lowers the music level when the microphone is activated. This allows the host’s voice to come through prominently over the music.

When the announcement is finished, guests can continue enjoying their selected music channel.
